Motovario incorporates DR Drives
Motovario, a well-established Italian manufacturer of transmission components for industrial and civil applications, has incorporated by merger DR Drives, a Formigine, Italy-based company specialising in the distribution of electric motors. The new partnership, which came into effect on 1 January 2010, aims to optimise Motovario's commercial offerings at an international level and will allow the group to further strengthen its sales position by capitalising on expertise and human resources. The DR Drives sales organisation has been fully integrated into that of Motovario to assure customer service continuity. Motovario has always been keen to invest in its corporate image and recently added a new slogan, The Heart of Motion, which has become part of the company logo. The slogan concisely and effectively sums up its corporate philosophy: Motovario products as the heart of modern production processes.
