Ceramic machinery industry: 2010 almost stable

In the first three months of this year the Italian ceramic machinery industry reported an overall increase in turnover, largely due to a recovery in exports. However, there continues to be widespread uncertainty about 2010. The sector's companies are anticipating a situation of stability in the majority of international markets and not the hoped-for recovery in industrial investments.  The sector is also seriously concerned about the announced halving of the funds for the Italian Trade Commission (ICE) which plays a vital role in promoting the sector at an international level.
