Ancora Group supplies end-of-line system to Yurtbay Seramik (Turkey)
Yurtbay Seramik, one of the largest ceramic manufacturers in Turkey with an annual production capacity of around 20,000,000 sq.m, has chosen Ancora technology for end-of-line processing of polished porcelain tile. The new line complete with high-throughput polishing and squaring systems will come on stream by the end of the summer of 2010. It consists of an 8-head roughing machine, a 40 oscillating head polishing machine and a squaring machine for sizes from 300x300 mm through to 600x1200 mm.
This large order bodes well for the sector's economic recovery and further strengthens the Sassuolo-based group's presence in the Turkish market.
