Ceramicolor sends out invitations to factory open day

Ceramicolor, the Italian association of manufacturers of pigments, glazes and metal oxides for the ceramic industry and a member of Federchimica, is joining in the celebrations for the International Year of Chemistry by taking part in the “Open Factories” initiative.

For the occasion, local communities will have the chance to visit some of the most important factories in the district and discover their products and contribution to the quality of living, as well as the technologies used to protect the environment, industrial safety and health. On Saturday 7 May the companies took part in the initiative  and opened their factory gates to citizens, schools and institutions to enable them to experience the day-to-day running of the various departments, research laboratories, plants and warehouses.
