Italian Ceramic Technology Award 2015: the winners visit Italy

From 2 to 4 December, two Iranian students from Islamic Azad University Meybod Branch and two Brazilian students from the federal universities of Paraná and Sao Paulo will be visiting Italy as winners of the Italian Ceramic Technology Award 2015.

Organised by the Italian Trade Agency ICE in cooperation with Acimac, the initiative rewards outstanding research ideas in the field of innovative technology for ceramic production.

On 30 November and 1 December there will be two training days devoted to Italian manufacturing held at the Carlo Cattaneo - LIUC University in Castellanza.

During their stay in Italy, the students will have a chance to find out more about the Italian ceramic industry by visiting leading companies including CAMI, SITI B&T, Tosi LAB and SACMI.

The purpose of the Italian Ceramic Technology Award is to give outstanding students from prestigious universities all over the world the chance to discover the most advanced Italian industrial technology, thereby promoting a direct knowledge of Italian machinery amongst the people who in the near future will occupy leadership roles at local client companies.

During the Italian trip, the delegation will also visit the Ferrari Museum in Modena and will be the guests of Tetrapak.
