Officina CMC celebrates 30 years of research and innovation based on farsighted vision

Officina CMC, a Casalgrande (RE) based company specialising in industrial automation, marked its 30th anniversary on 20 May this year. The celebrations were held in the splendid setting of Palazzo de’ Rossi in Pontecchio Marconi (BO), where the Valentini family welcomed friends, associates and customers for a celebratory dinner. For the occasion, the company has modernised its logo, restyled its corporate image and unveiled a new website in keeping with its current communication goals.
Set up in 1981, CMC began developing the first automatic tile conveying systems, and through collaboration with Sacmi immediately stood out in the market for its increasingly innovative solutions. In 2009 it became fully owned by the Valentini family. To meet its goal of offering efficient solutions for the needs of today’s manufacturing world, CMC is investing both in human resources – by expanding its workforce and focusing on professional training – and in new technologies. These strategies have enabled it to avoid a significant decline in turnover during the last two years.
The owner of numerous patents, CMC has adapted to the changing times, intensifying its partnership with Sacmi and branching out into the design and production of automatic systems for metallic powder presses and for sheet bending, a major challenge that opens up new opportunities in rapidly developing sectors.
