Projecta Engineering EVOLVES

At a dedicated open house event held in Villa Marchetti (Baggiovara, MO) yesterday, 24 January, Projecta Engineering and Siti B&T Group unveiled Evolve, their latest technological proposal to an audience of around 150 people, including suppliers, customers and journalists. The Formigine-based group has a long tradition of investment in research and development and has now chosen to transfer the focus of its cutting-edge technology to the rapidly-expanding segment of ceramic digital decoration. The meeting was also attended by Siti B&T Group’s chairman Fausto Tarozzi together with his sons Fabio and Marco.

Building on experience gained with the Keramagic family of machines, Evolve takes innovation to the next level with the seven-colour Evoseven. Just over three metres in length, it wins the podium for the most advanced digital printing machine. At the official presentation, Evoseven was displayed in the central hall at Villa Marchetti to enable visitors to appreciate its innovative characteristics to the full. The machine stands out for its compactness, flexibility, ease of access and maintenance, effective and automatic cleaning, high-power extraction, single point machine parameter management, low installed power, high image loading speed, and installation of up to 7 colour bars in a very small space.

The programme featured key addresses by Vincenzo Palumbo, managing director of Projecta Engineering, and by Marco Ferrari, product manager of Siti B&T Group. In front of a packed audience, they outlined the main innovations of Evolve and its numerous applications in the field of digital design.

“We believe that this is the most innovative digital printing machine currently available on the market, particularly in view of its length of just 333 cm,” commented Marco Ferrari with evident satisfaction. Evoseven/70 along with its sister machine Evofive/70, will soon be showcased at all the sector’s major trade fairs.

“We’re proud to present our latest technological innovation, which rewards our hard work and constant investments in research,” commented Vincenzo Palumbo. “Evolve’s characteristics meet the real needs both of the Italian market, where ever higher finished product quality is essential, and of export markets, where operating speed is a particularly popular characteristic.”

The event was concluded by a buffet lunch that sealed the success of the Evolve family’s debut.
