SITI-B&T and the Sanitaryware convention

A one-day convention organised by SITI-B&T Group on 29 September during Tecnargilla 2010 provided an opportunity to focus on new technologies for the sanitaryware sector. The Formigine-based group invited its international customers to the event to enable them to take stock of “New opportunities for sanitaryware”.

Held in Sala Ravezzi in the Rimini exhibition centre, the convention featured addresses by Davide di Natale from Siti-B&T and Davide Passoni from SIR (Soluzioni Industriali Robotizzate, a Modena-based group member company), who outlined the latest technological innovations proposed by the group in the sanitaryware sector.

The speakers focused in particular on Cubic, the high-pressure casting machine for the production of open and closed rim WCs and bidets. Entirely designed and developed by SIR, the machine was exhibited in operation in the SITI-B&T stand at Tecnargilla.
Like all the Group’s products, the high-pressure machines developed by SITI-SIR are equipped with advanced technical solutions and observe the concept of simplicity and flexibility of use in terms of models and moulds.

The sanitaryware division is able to supply a full range of machines for all stages of sanitaryware production, from body, glaze and mould preparation through to casting, drying, inspection, glazing and automated finishing, and finally modelling and firing. Furthermore, as regards the casting process that lies at the heart of the production cycle, SITI-B&T Group is able to offer a broad selection of high and low pressure technology machines to meet a wide range of market needs and demands.
