OM STILL's eco-sustainable logistics at their Zero Emission Event

OM Still, the historic Italian leader in lift trucks and warehouse equipment, held its first Zero Emission Event on 26 June at Scandiano (Reggio Emilia).

For the Lainate (Milan) company and the 100 guests who attended the evening, the event was an opportunity to meet and exchange views on the themes of environmental sustainability and efficiency as they relate to logistics.

OM Still presented its solutions, which are renowned in the market for their zero emissions capability and operator comfort. These values are supported by innovations like lithium ion batteries and fuel cell solutions, technologies in which the company is a pioneer, and the hybrid technology first tested by the Group over 30 years ago.

The evening was also the occasion for a review of his Group's experience by Giorgio Romani, President of Gruppo Romani Industrie Ceramiche, who has a long-established partnership with OM Still and is equally committed to their zero emissions philosophy: “I'm very pleased to be here this evening," says Romani, "as it offers an important opportunity for re-affirming the value of reducing the energy consumption and environmental impact of our business. Our company has always shared this philosophy, and it's no coincidence that we have just recently renewed our fleet of trucks by upgrading from fuel power to OM Still's electrical technology.”
