Investments and innovation in Uzbekistan

The Uzbek brickmaker Ohangaron Keramika is investing in new technology to increase production and improve the quality of materials while achieving higher factory efficiency.

Ohangaron Keramika, a brick manufacturer operating in Akhangaran in the Tashkent region, is responding to the country’s surge in demand for construction materials by introducing new technologies capable of catering more effectively to the needs of the market.

Founded in 2008, the company has an annual production volume of around 25 million solid and hollow bricks and in September this year plans to start up a third fully automated line to raise production capacity to 5 million bricks/month (60 million bricks/year).

However, Ohangaron Keramika is also aiming to improve product quality and approach European standards.

With this in mind, the company’s general director Azizov Surat visited Tecnargilla in September, where he had the chance to discover high-performance and highly sustainable solutions. We met him at the exhibition.
