Ceramics 4.0: Large, digital and sustainable The 10th ACIMAC Annual Meeting at Tecnargilla on 25th September

As in 2016, the Tecnargilla 2018 programme of events will once again begin with the 10th ACIMAC Annual Meeting, the traditional conference organised by the Italian Ceramic Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers’ Association in collaboration with Ceramic World Review and Tecnargilla.

The conference, to be held in the Neri Room on 25 September (from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm), will explore the latest developments in materials and technologies for the production of the “ceramics of the future”, namely large-size products decorated using full digital systems and produced in factories that meet Industry 4.0 criteria.

Entitled “Ceramics 4.0: Large, digital and sustainable”, the conference will explore the ceramic industry’s increasing focus on the production of innovative surfaces in lengths of 3 metres or more using environmental-friendly processes.

A number of industry-leading companies will present their latest technological innovations: BMR, Colorobbia, Durst, Esmalglass-Itaca, LB, Sacmi, System and Torrecid. The conference will be moderated by Prof. Paolo Zannini from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

The conference will be open to all industry professionals including technical managers, technicians, R&D staff and creative teams. Simultaneous Italian-English translation will be provided.
