Coverings ends in big success
The 26th Coverings, the most important North American exhibition for ceramic and stone surface coverings, comes to an end today in Orlando.
This year's event has been a big success. Encouraged by the strong recovery in demand in the United States, an extraordinary number of distributors and architects converged on the Orange County Convention Center from all over the country, resulting in 18% growth in attendance during the first three days of the show.
The more than 1,000 exhibitors (alongside the US companies there were around a hundred Italian brands, as well as companies from Spain, Turkey, South American, China and other countries) are returning home from their trip to Florida with a good dose of optimism about the new opportunities that are opening up in the US market.
Coverings bids farewell to its guests with an invitation to return for next year's show, to be held from 18 to 21 April 2016 in the cooler but no less interesting location of Chicago.
Best Booth Award Winners
As usual, Coverings 2015 awarded four exhibitors with the annual Best Booth Awards for their capability to captivate attendees with show-stopping booth displays and inspiring products.
The Best in Show Award went to the Italian companiesAntolini Luigi and Unicom Starker and to the Spanish company Saloni Ceramica, whereas the Spanish color and glaze manufacturer Torrecid has been awarded with the Best Show Experience Award.
