Decortech: aesthetics takes centre stage at Tecnargilla

Tecnargilla creates an exhibition area dedicated to aesthetics and decoration.

Tecnargilla bets on aesthetics and design. In a period in which aesthetics is increasingly a focus of the development of finished products and process technologies, Tecnargilla has set up an exhibition area dedicated specifically to decoration.

Following the successful launch in 2018 of the two new Greentech and T-Finishing sections, the 27th edition of the biggest global event for the ceramic and brick industry, which will run from 28 September to 2 October 2020 at the Italian Exhibition Group's Rimini exhibition centre, will be hosting another new section: Decortech.

This new salon will expand and round out the existing Kromatech section, which has traditionally exhibited products, technologies and services for the aesthetic side of the industry.

A showcase for the know-how of companies developing raw materials and technologies to yield the highest aesthetic quality and finish of the product, an added value which boosts the competitiveness of the product itself. This concept is also applied to large slabs, a trend that has been characterising the ceramic market in recent years.

The objective of this new division of the exhibition's layout is to consolidate and enhance Tecnargilla's offering by interpreting market trends to showcase the vast aesthetic potential of ceramic.

Decortech will therefore host not only products and technologies for decoration, but also software, materials, design and aesthetic creativity to best represent current aesthetic and material trends in surfaces and interior design.

Themes which Tecnargilla has always promoted for its visitors, especially in the Ceramic Workshop, the exhibition area dedicated to trends and new concepts in ceramic. The space will host Ceramic Trends, an exhibit covering the latest trends in colours and materials, and the Tecnargilla Design Award, which has been set up by the exhibition centre itself to recognise the most innovative technologies, applications and materials used in making the floor and wall surfaces of the future.

Decortech will be housed in the six pavilions on the west area of the exhibition centre, C1, C2, C3, A1, A2 and A3.
