Great success for the 33rd CeramBath

Over 200,000 global traders gathered at the 33rd CeramBath in Foshan from 18 to 21 April, 2019.

From 18 to 21 April, 2019, Foshan was the venue of the 33rd CeramBath exhibition. The event registered a new success, attracting a total of 189,130 visitors, with an increase of 1.5% compared to the last session (October 2018).

The number of international visitors reached 19,858 buyers, up 12% with respect to the 32nd session, representing 10.5% of the total affluence and covering 172 countries and regions worldwide.

Domestic visitors were 169,272, accounting for 89.5% of the total. Over 78% attendees had pre-registered for the e-ticket via the online platform.

The top 20 foreign countries from which the most visitors came were India, South Korea, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Australia, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Russia, Nigeria, the United States, Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Brazil, Canada, Sri Lanka and North Korea.

In the 33rd CeramBath, Asian buyers still occupied the largest portion (71.9%), while 8.19% buyers were from Europe, 7.5% from Africa and 6.67% from South America. North American and Oceanian buyers were also closely following. The influence of CeramBath keeps rising in the emerging markets like Southeast Asia, South Asia and Eastern Europe.

With the theme of “Create·Difference”, the 33rd CeramBath upgraded its four modules, which were Trend Products, Precise Channels, Hot Events, and Considerate Services. More than 800 brands participated as exhibitors, covering both upstream and downstream fields of the ceramic sector, including ceramic tiles, sanitaryware, project, internet software, ceramic machinery and auxiliary material. Over 20,000 products were displayed in the fair.

According to the analysis of exhibitors and exhibits, rustic tile, mosaic and large-size slab still played a significant role in the 33rd session. Meanwhile, the ratio of products like functional tiles, ceramic auxiliary products, whole-set decoration and customization has climbed.

The 34th edition of Cerambath will be held from 18 to 21 October, 2019.
