Kromatech 2016 confirms its position as global showcase for creativity in ceramics

Within the scope of the exhibition areas of Tecnargilla 2016, the most important global event dedicated to supply for the ceramic and brick industries, ended in Rimini the latest 30 September, Kromatech too confirmed the expectations about appeal, resulting among the most visited sections by the main Italian and international players, coming from over 100 countries.

The area, dedicated to paint manufacturers, design studios and raw materials, revealed the most exclusive aesthetic trends in ceramics, from glazes to graphics and products created using new digital decorating techniques. More than two months after the end of the event in Rimini, the exhibitors drew the conclusions about their experience at the fair, with a definitely positive outcome in terms of quality and quantity of the visitors, and of new contacts acquired.

“For Torrecid Tecnargilla 2016 has been a great success once again“ – declared Federico Michavila Heras, President of the Spanish group – “Our product and process innovations, real foretastes of the future of ceramics, drew attention from every visitor. We really believe in this fair because of its vocation for international markets, we consider it one of the most important events of the world in our field”. 

Marco Toccaceli, Marketing Director of Colorobbia (Italia), echoes his words: “Tecnargilla has met our expectations and confirmed to be the reference fair for the entire ceramics industry. We are very pleased of the high turnout of visitors from all continents and of the results reached”.

Armando Meletti, General Manager of Esmalglass Itaca (Italian branch), holds the same opinion, and defines Tecnargilla as a proud boast for Italy. “The event confirmed its high international profile by welcoming delegations from all over the world, we all agree to consider the fair a growing attraction for all international operators in the industry”.

“For us and for our affiliate Kaolin AD it has been a very positive fair” stated Hans-Jürgen Hofmann – Commercial Manager of the Ceramic Division of German company Amberger Kaolin – “Especially in the early days of the event the flow of visitors reached very high levels, all of them deeply interested and with concrete projects. Within the ceramic sector, Tecnargilla certainly managed to assert its leadership beyond European borders.”

Equally satisfied is Davide Mighali, Sales Manager of the Italian branch of Kaltun Mining Company (Turkey): “We can consider ourselves fully satisfied for the general results of the fair, a first-class showcase that has allowed us to present all the new products and services introduced during the year. Thanks to the high attendance at the stand, proof of the high interest for Tecnargilla by the market, we have been able to create new business relationships and strengthen the existing ones”.

Kromatech was arranged on an area of 16,000 square metres in Hall B5/D5, and hosted, in addition to Italian firms, also leading companies from Spain, Turkey, Germany, Portugal, China, Egypt, Ukraine and Iran.
