Tecnargilla 2014: digital technology review and training courses

Tecnargilla 2014, the world's most important ceramics industry supplies trade show, is scheduled to take place in Rimini from 22nd to 26th September and will once again be hosting a series of conferences for engineering managers from ceramic manufacturers.

Indeed, Tecnargilla is the venue for the 6th annual meeting organised by Acimac (Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery and Equipment for Ceramics) dealing with digital decorating and glazing technology for ceramic tiles.

Scheduled for Tuesday 23rd September, the symposium will provide a complete overview of the very latest offerings in this sector, especially with regard to digital glazing, and preview forthcoming developments arising from current research. It therefore offers a unique opportunity for all international businesses and experts from the ceramics sector to catch up on the latest technology.

Meanwhile, the first day of the show, in the afternoon of Monday 22nd September, sees the start of the international refresher course on matters currently of greatest interest to the ceramic manufacturing cycle. The first course regards energy efficiency and audits in the ceramic manufacturing process. The other two are scheduled for Wednesday 24th September and will tackle two topics of great interest: large-sized ceramic tiles and international technical standards for tiles.

CE marking of ceramic lines: operating instructions for the chosen department, packaging and palletising is the title of the conference to be held on Friday 26th September open to engineers from the Italian ceramics industry only.

In addition to these conferences, you will also find permanent educational events/exhibitions at the Ceramic Workshop, the large exhibition area situated right at the heart of Tecnargilla, the south hall, and showcasing the latest ceramic material developments and research.
