The 24th CeramBath Achieved a Great Success

On Oct. 22, Continuous attention to "Green, Health, Upgrading", the 24th CeramBath ended successfully. According to the official report, the total visitor of this session reached 91130 person-times with a growth of 19.7% than last session, which is a new high of the recent 5 session. Hereinto, 43% were professional buyers, while the international buyers reached 12750 person-times, accounting for 14% of total and with a growth of 4%. Influenced by Ebola, buyers from Africa significantly reduced, but the number of South America and Russia had a great increase. From the data, both are increasing no matter international buyers or professional buyers, reflecting that the impact of CeramBath on ceramic industry is improving. Meanwhile, there is a further cooperation among ceramic enterprise, real estate developer and designer.

Exhibits Analysis

After walking around the three venues, it is not difficult to find that wood tile, cement tile, rustic tile as well as art tile are badly hot in the 24th CeramBath.

Undoubtedly, wood tile has become a must on the exhibition and the exhibitors specializing on wood tile is also increasing. Going over the grain and texture, it is hard to tell the difference between the real wood and wood tile. However, it is still a little pity that the popular wood tile cannot be showcased in a creative way as expected. On the other hand, another hot product had to be cement tile, whose colors are diversified, ranging from dark gray to light gray and brown. Even so, some exhibitors reflected that cement tile has not yet achieved integrated development in China, and most enterprises hold back to expand their cement tile into market.

Exhibitor Analysis

The 24th CeramBath gathers 701 exhibitors, 493 of which came from Guangdong. Exhibitors from other producing regions kept increasing in these several years, especially those from Shandong, gathering over 40 enterprises, such as Gold Lion King Ceramics, Lion King Ceramics, Double Festiva Ceramics, Tongyi Ceramics, etc. Besides, 49 exhibitors were from Fujian, while 98 others from Zhejiang, Hunan, Jiangxi, etc. The growth of exhibitors from various production areas not only owed to organizer's stronger promotion, but also to Chinese ceramic enterprises' awakening of branding development. With the improvement of ink-jet technology & pattern design and the growth of export volume, Chinese ceramic enterprises were in urgent need of a platform for brand building and product promotion, thus the passion for participating in the fair grew higher and higher.

On Show at China Ceramics City

Many showrooms redecorate to welcome the 24th CeramBath. The exhibition tightly follows the international ceramics trend to launch the new pattern ceramics tile such as metallic surface, fabric looking, newspapers & magazine tile which make products become much more natural and individual than ever before. There also a larger lamina with the size of 2m x 1m and its thickness is just only 4 mm.

International Green Building Material Seminar: Well known British Landscape Architect Barry Wilson was invited to China Ceramics City Venue and delivered a brainstorm workshop about Foot Print, Product Life Cycle, Body Energy to the CeramBath Visitors, which has attracted more than 10 medium to update their idea about green building material!

Bathroom Festival: Grazy Toitlet: Giving a brief introduction about the history of toilet that the first toilet could be dated back to more than 2000 years ago. It showed the amazing evolution of Toilet. Meanwhile, the mascot, Princess Poo was so popular that loved by audience from all over the world!

Visitor Analysis

Among the 5 days exhibition, the visitor flow of 24th CeramBath reached to 91,130 person-times which broke the record of the past 5 sessions, increasing 19.7% compared to 23rd session. Numbers of professional buyers takes up 43% among the total; international buyers is 14% which reach to 12,750 person-times with a 4% increase compared to the last CeramBath. African visitor dropped under the influence of Ebola virus; Meanwhile, South American and Russian buyers increased.
