Agreement between Italcer and Tonino Lamborghini

Italcer group will produce the new Tonino Lamborghini Luxury Surfaces line of floor and wall tiles

Tonino Lamborghini, a brand of accessories and luxury real estate projects, and Italcer, a hub of Italian ceramic design and high-end bathroom furnishings, have signed an agreement for a new collection of floor and wall tiles bearing the Tonino Lamborghini Luxury Surfaces brand name.

The new line will combine Italcer’s cutting-edge technology with the iconic Italian design of the Bologna-based brand founded by the heir of the Lamborghini family and now led by Ferruccio Lamborghini.

The new Tonino Lamborghini Luxury Surfaces collection will be produced and marketed by La Fabbrica, an Italcer Group company founded in Castel Bolognese (RA) in 1994. The collection will be launched in the first half of 2021 and will satisfy market demand for modern tile sizes.

Aimed mainly at an international clientele consisting of selected stores and contract projects, the new line of ceramic products will also be used in Tonino Lamborghini Hospitality projects in Brazil, China and other international locations where the brand is carrying out real estate projects.

The Italcer Group, owner of such historic Italian ceramic brands as Devon&Devon (bathroom furnishings), La Fabbrica, AVA, Elios, Rondine, Bottega and Cedir, is currently the sixth largest Italian company in the ceramic tile sector with an expected production of more than 15 million square metres in 2021. It has 587 employees and works with more than 3,000 distributors worldwide.

The Group is owned by the Mandarin Capital Partners II private equity fund and led by Graziano Verdi. It aims to reach a revenue of 300 million euros and an EBITDA of 70 million euros by 2024.

In recent years, Italcer has invested more than 25 million euros in Industry 4.0 technologies and is planning to make further annual investments of 10 million euros over the three-year period 2021-2023.
