Alessandro Bianchini appointed new Technical Director of Siti B&T Group

Alessandro Bianchini, 49 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bologna, is the new technical director of Siti B&T Group.

Drawing from his extensive experience in the packaging and ceramic machinery sectors (particularly in the design of plants for grinding raw materials and for producing premixed powders), Bianchini will focus on the development of the latest Siti B&T technologies. This will include integrated dry grinding, further improvements in energy saving and a totally green line capable of halving production costs.

Both the Tile division and B&T White will undergo major changes, including expansion of the design team working on turnkey plant solutions for the sanitaryware industry. 

Another of Bianchini's tasks is to set up an even more extensive and effective support and after-sales service. As for R&D, the remodelling of the Technological Centre in Formigine will be completed by July with the installation of the new pilot plant for large sizes.

The Formigine-based group has also announced its intention to take on 25 new members of staff, including plant installation technicians and LGV operators, sales engineers, software programmers, PLC programmers and designers.

SITI B&T Group now has around 600 employees and a number of branches in the most important countries worldwide.
