American Wonder Porcelain commissions LB to expand its plant

Following the first line supplied in 2016, the latest agreement covers the continuous mill feeding system, expansion of the spray-dried powder storage area and the feeding system for four new presses.

For the expansion of its large-size porcelain tile factory in Lebanon, Tennessee, Wonder Porcelain Group has once again chosen LB technology for the raw materials preparation department.

The Italian plant supplier was commissioned to double the size of the plant supplied in 2016, including the continuous mill feeding system, expansion of the spray dried product storage zone and the feeding system for four new presses.

American Wonder Porcelain again chose LB due to the advantages seen on the first line, including a high level of automation, outstanding materials quality and customised solutions.

The new plant is expected to begin operation by the end of 2019 and will also feature the new LB services for process management in keeping with Industry 4.0 criteria, namely the Plus software and the Star app.
