BMR sees growth in 2015 and invests in internationalisation

BMR has reported another growth year, closing 2015 with a turnover of almost 50 million euros and maintaining profitability and earnings in line with the previous year.

The majority of turnover was generated in international markets. One of the most dynamic markets is the United States, where more than 25 complete BMR finishing lines are already in operation. These consist of polishing and squaring plants for the production of high-quality porcelain in both conventional sizes (600x1200 mm) and large-format panels that maintain high levels of energy efficiency and productivity.

The importance of the US market prompted the company led by Paolo Sassi to set up a logistics branch in Dickson, Tennessee (USA), in the heart of the so-called US “ceramic valley”.

The new branch, opened in cooperation with LB of Fiorano Modenese, aims to bring Italian technological innovation to the USA and offer the local market the industry’s expertise and professionalism through a technical and sales support service that is in direct contact with customers.
