Cimes adopts Industry 4.0 criteria

The strong revenue growth of 2018 enabled the company to pursue an intense investment programme involving the production and design departments.

Cimes (Maranello, Modena), a company specialising in the production of glazing and decoration lines for the ceramic and brick industries, posted 18% revenue growth in 2018. This strong performance enabled the company to pursue an intense investment programme involving both the production and internal technical design departments.

The factory has now been modernised in keeping with Industry 4.0 criteria and is fully interconnected, while the design department has been equipped with a highly innovative system that allows for 3D design of machinery and instant updating of operation and spare parts manuals.

With more than 45 years of experience in the market, Cimes is a flexible company capable of dealing with the most diverse customisation requests and levels of plant complexity, guaranteeing the highest levels of technical and manufacturing performance even when managing small production batches.

The company can provide technical support rapidly and efficiently to customers worldwide both during installation and testing and in the after-sales period. The 3,000 square metre warehouse stocks a full range of spare parts.
