Inter Ser posts double-digit growth in 2020

New record turnover in 2020 with 10.5% growth over 2019. Important business partnerships with machinery manufacturers in the Sassuolo district.

Inter Ser, a Vercelli-based company specialising in the international distribution of original spare parts and machinery for the ceramic industry, posted a new record turnover in 2020 (up 10.5% on 2019). This excellent result was achieved in no small part thanks to synergies with machinery and equipment manufacturers based in the Sassuolo district where the company has its logistics centre.

Led by Gian Luca and Paolo Zanoni, Inter Ser has grown steadily in recent years and is now recognised in international markets as a reliable partner capable of offering a wide range of services. As well as supplying spare parts, the company develops specific machinery and accessories in collaboration with a number of Italian machine shops selected on the basis of their expertise and capacity for innovation.

In collaboration with these partners, Inter Ser designs and develops new solutions to problems reported by customers, creating user-friendly machines that can be integrated into existing production lines. This enables the company to make an important contribution to the industry’s technological research, to the growth of companies that do not have a foreign sales network and to the success of Italian products worldwide.

“We have always believed in the importance of networking in our industry, especially for small and medium-sized companies. This is why we have never gone into production ourselves but instead focus on marketing customised solutions,” explains Gian Luca Zanoni. “The professionalism and competence of our work has paid dividends even in a very challenging year.”

Inter Ser is a major partner for the world’s largest tile manufacturers and counts 22 of the 25 top international groups among its customers.
