Inter Ser posts good results in 2018

Consolidated turnover reaches 15.5 million euros. The outlook for 2019 is very positive thanks to the company’s entry into new markets and the launch of new products.

Thanks to partnerships with 22 of the world’s top 25 tile producers, Inter Ser posted consolidated revenue of 15.5 million euros in 2018, in line with the previous year’s record figure.

This was a very positive result for the Vercelli-based company (with logistics centre in Sassuolo) which specialises in the international distribution of original spare parts and machines, particularly given the fall in demand in certain strategic areas such as Argentina.

Moreover, as it operates exclusively in export markets, the company led by Gian Luca and Paolo Zanoni was unable to benefit from the tax incentives provided by the Italian government’s Industry 4.0 programme.

The outlook for 2019 is very positive thanks to the company’s entry into new markets and the excellent reception given to several of its technological solutions. These include I-Nkfiller, the automatic system for feeding ink tanks on digital printers (with average payback times of one year), and Eneagreen, the radiant press oil cooler renowned for its technical performance, quiet operation and 30% lower energy consumption compared to other machines of the same kind.
