Kryo technology from Smac enjoys new market success

The patented Kryo technology from Officine Smac continues to establish itself as one of the leading systems for tile cooling on digital decoration lines.

A number of top ceramic companies have added new Kryo units to those already in operation, recognising their effectiveness in solving problems relating to high temperatures and vapour emissions during digital printing.

One of these is the Kale Group, a longstanding Turkish customer which has increased the number of Kryo machines on its lines to 22. In Italy, Cooperativa Ceramica d’Imola has started up its fifth machine, allowing for an increase in output and significant improvements in the quality of final printing, even on high-thickness products and large-format slabs and panels. A third Kryo machine was delivered to the German company Villeroy & Boch in July, while Crossville Ceramics in the United States has installed a second, testifying to the advantages offered by the machine.
