Modula opens new branch in Singapore

Modula South East will work alongside the Chinese facility in providing sales and technical support to the Asian market.

Modula (Salvaterra di Casalgrande, Reggio Emilia), a manufacturer of the eponymous high-bay automatic warehouses, is expanding in Asia by opening the subsidiary Modula South East in Singapore.

Along with the sales, administrative and financial staff, the new headquarters has a specialised technical team that will provide support with customers' installations.

In particular, Modula South East will work alongside Modula China Automation Equipment, the Suzhou-based Chinese subsidiary, in covering the Asian market and consolidating the network of dealers and partners already operating in Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Bangladesh, Pakistan and South Korea. The Suzhou plant was built in accordance with the same Industry 4.0 principles that characterise the Italian plant in Salvaterra and is expected to produce more than 1,000 high-bay automatic warehouses per year.
