Projecta Engineering supplies technology to the Middle East

Projecta Engineering, a member of Siti B&T Group, has installed its first ceramic plotter designed specifically for digital printing of artistic and decorative tiles in the Middle East.

The machine has been adopted by Balian Armenian Ceramics, a Jerusalem-based company specialising in the production of customised decorative tiles which are sold all over the world. The new digital plotter is able to handle drop sizes with 8 grey levels and will deliver almost photographic quality printing with strongly contrasted tones that can meet the most complex requirements of architects and interior designers.

The decision to use Projecta Engineering technology came after months of research and testing with a number of different plotters. The challenge was to use a system for producing high quality ceramic tile murals in a wide range of colours which would serve as test platforms for new designs and effects at large companies.
