B&T and Ancora at Expo Revestir

The Italian group Siti B&T, through its subsidiary Barbieri & Tarozzi do Brasil, will be taking part in the exhibition Expo Revestir (stand 0485) in São Paulo from 1 to 4 March.

At the event it will be showcasing integrated cutting-edge technological solutions for every step in the ceramic production process, from preparation through to the end-of-line stage, as well as its NOSTOP after-sales service, including technical support and technological upgrading.

Visitors to the B&T stand will have a chance to find out more about the characteristics of Supera®, the innovative technology for XXL large-format panels capable of producing a wide range of sizes (3600x1200 mm in the case of the 25,000 t press, 3200x1600 mm with the 33,000 t press and 4800x1600 mm with the 44,000 t press) and their submultiples in thicknesses from 5 to 25 mm and with a production capacity of 11,000 sq.m/day.

Top levels of energy efficiency will be provided by the new generation of Titanium® kilns, which guarantee a more than 30% reduction in fuel consumption and very low emissions. SITI B&T also offers the benefits of local production, including Brazilian-made kilns built to Italian design and equipped with innovative burners such as Titanium and Vulcan.

Further technological solutions include the new EVO 3.0 presses equipped with devices such as E-Synchro®, a demoulding system that eliminates loading errors and reduces maintenance costs; Genius box® for total tile quality control; Fasty, a device for rapid and efficient mould changing; Start & Stop, a hydraulic power unit that eliminates machine stoppages and consumption during the phases in which the press does not require hydraulic power, improving performance and efficiency and lowering consumption (savings of up to 30%).

In the field of digital decoration, Projecta Engineering (part of Siti B&T Group) will be focusing on EVO Hybrid digital decorating machines and on the brand new G5, synonymous with total flexibility, speed and maximum resolution. Equipped with Seiko and Xaar printheads, it has a printing width of between 700 and 1900 mm.

Last but not least, Ancora will be showcasing Dry Squaring Speed, the new dry squaring machine for all kinds of ceramic materials including porcelain which allows for high throughputs, considerable energy savings and cost reductions, and the Polishing machine for large XXL sizes.
