The special Tecnargilla issues of Ceramic World Review and Brick World Review are now available online

The two special Tecnargilla issues of the magazines Ceramic World Review and Brick World Review are already online and will be distributed from Monday 22 September onwards at Tecnargilla in Rimini and at Cersaie in Bologna. You will find us

  • in Rimini at the Tile Edizioni stands (Hall Sud, stand 001 and hall C5, stand 155) and at the central ACIMAC stand (Hall Sud, stand 002);
  • and at Cersaie at the Tile Edizioni stands (Services Centre, stand 1 and hall 19, stand B18) and at the Acimac stand (Services Centre, stand 4)

This extra-large issue of Ceramic World Review includes more than 80 pages devoted to outstanding technological innovations on display in Rimini as well as an extensive economics and statistics section focusing on the global ceramic industry and market.

The annual statistical appointment with "World production and consumption of ceramic tiles" is accompanied this year by an up-to-date picture of the largest world groups in the sector: 25 large companies located all over the world (USA, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Italy, Brazil, Poland, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, India, Spain, Argentina, Malaysia, Colombia, South Africa and Egypt). These groups are for the most part highly internationalised and in 2013 manufactured a total of more than 1,700 million sq.m of tiles, equivalent to around 15% of world production, which last year grew 6.4% year-on-year to 11,913 million sq.m. Although these industrial groups are extremely heterogeneous in terms of type, value of production and capacity for penetration of international markets, the analysis will nonetheless offer readers useful insights and a good basis for further analysis.

The survey of world tile production is also accompanied by specific focus sections on the ceramic industries of Italy, Brazil and Turkey as well as turnover figures for the largest Italian ceramic companies based on the survey conducted by the magazines Tile Italia and Tile International.

We also take a look at the performance of the construction market in Europe, where the bleak outlook of the last 6 years is beginning to brighten up a little, and in the Americas, where the recovery has already begun. And as usual we are hosting interviews with key players from the industry, in this issue Ahmet Yamaner (Chairman of the Turkish Ceramic Federation), Edson Gaidzinski Jr. (Chairman of Anfacer), Claudio Lucchese (Florim), Graziano Verdi (Koramic), Filippo Manuzzi (Ceramica Sant'Agostino) and Maurizio Baraldi (Ceramica Fondovalle).

We wish every success to companies taking part in Rimini and Bologna and to all our readers... Happy reading!
