The world of industrial printing converges on Milan for Inprint Italy

The second edition of InPrint Italy, the leading international exhibition of industrial printing technologies which this year will focus on the world of manufacturing, will be held at the MiCo Convention Centre in Milan from 20 to 22 November 2018.

A total of 112 exhibitors have registered with the show, including big names such as Agfa, Mimaki, Fujifilm, Konica Minolta and Inx Digital.

Consisting of 70% non-Italian companies, exhibitors will represent the three areas of industrial printing - functional, decorative and packaging - and showcase a complete range of screen printing, specialist, digital, inkjet and 3D printing technologies.

One of the best-known companies from the ceramic printing segment will be Xaar, a world leader in the field of piezoelectric drop-on-demand inkjet technology renowned for its versatile and high-performance printheads for ceramic tile decoration.

The Italian company Cefla will also be exhibiting at the show through its business unit Cefla Finishing, a world leader in plants for painting, decoration and digital printing on a variety of materials. With the 2016 acquisition of Jet-Set, a young and dynamic Bergamo-based company specialising in multipass and single pass industrial digital printers, Cefla Finishing has strengthened its leadership position and gained further experience in the field of finishings for ceramics, glass, textiles and plastic and metal objects, as well as the decoration of furniture and building components.

Large numbers of high-quality visitors are expected following the participation of 2,900 professionals from 56 countries at the first edition of the show, most of whom were decision-makers in search of solutions for specific production problems.

InPrint Italy will also offer a packed programme of seminars and conferences with leading experts in the sector who will share their knowledge and experience with attendees.

Over 60 speakers will share with visitors and exhibitors’ free sessions in both Italian and English. Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 November technical experts from about 20 companies will discuss inkjet technology in industrial applications. Wednesday 21 are scheduled the meetings of Wide presenting “Print of Things: functional and decorative printing” and “Surface decorations ", organised by TCM. Thursday 22 closing with the tech talks of IMI, a series of interesting case studies and thematic debates.
