CeramiCure by EBI Ltd. and HIMG Surface Repair to exhibit at Ceramitec 2015

CeramiCure® by EBI Ltd and HIMG® Surface Repair are partnering to exhibit at Ceramitec 2015 (Munich, Germany, 20-23 October) at Hall B1, Stand 529.

For more than 25 years, CeramiCure® by EBI Ltd. has been a pioneer in surface repair technologies for the sanitary ceramic industry worldwide.

Currently, CeramiCure® is the only global company offering a complete line of innovative, high-tech, nano-acrylic based repair solutions for large and small defects on glazed and non-glazed surfaces of various materials through the CeramiCure® LCATM and SCATM product lines.

CeramiCure® Light-Cure Acrylic (LCATM) is the complete sanitary ceramic and porcelain repair solution for making invisible repairs of minor defects, such as pits, iron spots, small chips, or pinholes, in visible, glazed areas. Made of high-tech nano-acrylic initially developed for a variety of medical applications, the LCATM repair solution withstands moisture, cleansers, and heat up to 285°F. LCATM is available in more than 300 colors, and is non-toxic, fast-curing, and easy to use.

CeramiCure® Self-Cure Acrylic (SCATM) is a complete sanitary ceramic and porcelain repair solution for restoring previously unusable "cracked" or "scrapped" pieces. SCATM combines a number of innovative, non-toxic acrylics and composite materials to allow for the repair of larger cracks, even those below the water line. Manufacturing plants can now produce saleable, profitable pieces from the scrap pile with a simple, cost-effective repair.

HIMG® Surface Repair, a division of HIMG Inc., utilized the innovative technology behind the CeramiCure® LCATM and SCATM products to develop a line of repair and refinishing products for the in-home do-it-yourself (DIY) and professional repair markets. These products enable anyone to make professional-quality repairs to chips, nicks and scratches on the surfaces of installed appliances such as bathtubs, sinks, lavatories, flooring and ceramic tiles.

The Carbon Credit Project:
"Go Green" with CeramiCure® by EBI Ltd.

CeramiCure® LCATM and SCATM products have a positive effect on the reduction of CO2 in production facilities. Facilities utilizing the CeramiCure® LCATM material reduce the need for refire, resulting in savings of additional energy consumption required by refiring a repaired piece. Facilities utilizing the CeramiCure® SCATM material to repair pieces from the scrap pile are eliminating wasted resources and expenses and turning unusable pieces into fully functioning, profitable sale pieces. A company utilizing CeramiCure® LCATM and SCATM repair materials increases profits while cutting costs and reducing CO2 and greenhouse gas output, creating a win-win situation for all.

Utilizing one or both of the CeramiCure® repair systems does allow companies to reduce their CO2 output and could assist in increasing the number of carbon credits available for trade on the carbon market.

CeramiCure® is looking to partner with sanitary ware plants worldwide to establish a formula that can be used to determine reduction rate, or amount of CO2 reduced, by a plant utilizing the CeramiCure® repair products.
