The new DRY LINE technologies from TECNO DIAMANT

Tecno Diamant’s R&D laboratory technicians have developed an innovative diamond metal grinding wheel for the dry grinding and squaring process.

Innovative new dry grinding lines based on completely water-free ceramic tile squaring and cutting technology are seeing strong growth in markets ranging from the United States to Europe and Asia.

In this context, Tecno Diamant’s R&D laboratory technicians have developed an innovative diamond metal grinding wheel for the dry grinding and squaring process. Available in grit sizes ranging from super coarse to super fine for all types of machines, the tools are structured either in a continuous band or in sectors with silenced bodies and are suitable for grinding polished or glazed porcelain, single and double-fired tile and monoporosa.

To improve the quality and durability of the grinding wheels, Tecno Diamant is developing new metal binders that can cope with extremely high removal rates and speeds.

The company has also developed a series of resin diamond tools for squaring, chamfering and micro-chamfering that deliver excellent results in terms of removal and finishing.

Thanks to the experience it has gained over the years, Tecno Diamant is able to offer tools and solutions for any specific request. All tools are supplied with the required dimensions and connections and in all grooved and continuous band sizes.

Tecno Diamant’s Dry diamond tools have achieved excellent results on complex materials, including removal of 6 cm per module on lappato full body and removal of 1 cm per module on 30 mm extra-thick surfaces. The very high processing speeds also allow for a significant increase in throughput in terms of pieces per minute.

Dry diamond blades for cutting porcelain stoneware, single-fired tile and any kind of polished and glazed ceramic material are available in various types, thicknesses and particle sizes. They meet the most stringent market demands and guarantee low disc consumption and high quality yield in both the pre-cutting and the cutting phases.
