VICENTINI:The IPV 1000 vertical pressure casting type plant

The IPV 1000 vertical pressure casting type plant is designed for the production of articles from one or two moulds mounted in series on the same crossbeam. The operating modes are all selectable by the operator, who is able to choose between the production of articles with mould no. 1, mould no. 2 or both moulds simultaneously. To detach the articles from the mould the operator can use a detaching pedal (one for each mould). Press closing is performed by a hydraulic cylinder mounted horizontally on the mobile crossbeam. The cylinder stroke is controlled by a linear potentiometer connected to the PLC which controls the machine. The cylinder closing pressure, the slip injection pressure and the injection times are set by the operator.

All the parameters related to the production of an article are loaded in a menu which can be saved. These data can be modified at any time according to production requirements.

A personal computer is used for machine control.

The operator can set, change and save all the machine parameters relating to each individual mould. Likewise, he can follow the video menus to set the operating modes and use the machine controls.
